Jazz Get Another Road Win With 113-104 Victory At Dallas

DALLAS, Texas – The Utah Jazz remained undefeated on the road this season with a 113-104 win over the Dallas Mavericks.
“(We) just have a tough group,” said Rudy Gobert after the game Sunday night. “Guys that want to compete, want to win and it just shows on the road. With the home crowd against you, we just show up and we get those tough wins.
Big Game By The Second Unit
It was nearly a wire-to-wire win for the Jazz as they overcame big performances from Dennis Smith Jr., Deandre Jordan and Wesley Matthews with big play from the bench.
“They did a great job,” said Gobert of the bench. “They gave us a little spark, especially in the third and it’s big. If you want to be a great time, we need the bench to be ready and tonight they were great.”
Gobert continued his season-long streak of double-double games with a 23-point, 16-rebound outing. Including Gobert, six Jazzmen finished in double figure scoring. Donovan Mitchell finished with 20 points, Jae Crowder had 15, Joe Ingles added 12 of his own. Off the bench, Georges Niang and Grayson Allen both had career nights in scoring. Niang had 13 points on 4-of-5 shooting while Allen had a perfect night shooting going 3-for-3 from the floor and 4-for-4 from the foul line to finish with 11 points.

For the Mavericks, Jordan had a monster night on the glass, finishing with 19 rebounds to compliment 12 points.

The Jazz will conclude a four-game road trip with a visit to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves Wednesday at 6 p.m. The game will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet.
