Jazz Look To Sweep Road Trip Against Wizards

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz will look to win their seventh straight game, and sweep their current four-game road trip when they face the Washington Wizards on Saturday.
The Jazz moved to 3-0 on the road trip with Thursday’s impressive 118-96 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.
The Wizards meanwhile snapped a three-game losing streak with an overtime win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday.
Jazz Look For Perfect Road Trip
The Jazz can sweep their four-game road trip with a win on Saturday, putting a finishing touch on their best stretch of basketball so far this season.
After a difficult 11 game stretch in November that saw the Jazz go 5-6, including 2-4 at home, the Jazz saw their fortunes shift.
The team has parlayed a 127-105 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans late last month into a six-game win streak, the second-longest in the NBA behind the Houston Rockets.

During the stretch, the Jazz are shooting an NBA-best 46 percent from the three-point line on 45.7 attempts per game.
A win over the Wizards would mark the first time the Jazz have swept a four-game road trip since March of 2020 when the Jazz won in Cleveland, New York, Boston, and Detroit shortly before the NBA season was suspended by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Wizards Looking For Momentum
The Wizards will look to start a win streak of their own when they host the Jazz on Saturday.
The team snapped a three-game road losing streak over the Pistons on Wednesday but needed a last-second three-pointer from former University of Utah forward Kyle Kuzma to earn the win.

After starting the season 10-3, the Wizards are just 5-8 in their last 13 games thanks in part to a road-heavy schedule.
Washington is 8-3 at home this season but has played just five of their last 16 contests at Capital One Arena.
In their last six outings, the Wizards have NBA’s 16th ranked offensive rating, and 27th ranked defensive rating.
Washington swept the Jazz in two games last season.
