Jordan Clarkson Surpasses 8,000 Career Points In Second Half Against Nuggets

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson has surpassed 8,000 career points during the second half against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night.
Entering Tuesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets, Jordan Clarkson was at 7,983 points, needing just 17 to get to 8,000. Clarkson was up to 19 points early in the fourth quarter in 18 minutes on the floor.

Clarkson is in his eighth season in the NBA. He has scored over 1,000 points in six of those seasons. The most points he ever scored in a single season was 1,364 with the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2018-19. The second-most was last season when he had 1,251, which led to being named NBA’s Sixth Man of the Year award.
Clarkson had 33 points in two games this season entering Tuesday’s game against Denver.
