SALT LAKE CITY – In a KSL Sports Twitter poll, Utah Jazz fans overwhelmingly preferred to see the team bring both Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell back to the roster next season.

The poll was posted on Thursday morning and ran for two hours asking fans a simple question: What would Jazz fans prefer to see this summer?

Fans were given the option to trade Mitchell, trade Gobert, trade neither player, or trade both.

After two hours, the results of the poll were lopsided, and Jazz fans want their two All-Stars back.

Of the more than 500 fans who voted, 54 percent said they want to see Gobert and Mitchell back with the Jazz next season.

Bringing the two stars back garnered more votes than the other three options combined.

The second-most-popular option was to trade Gobert while holding onto Mitchell, which earned 21 percent of the vote.

Trading both players was the third-most-popular option, garnering the third-most votes at 13 percent.

Jazz fans were most resistant to trading Mitchell while holding onto Gobert according to the poll’s results, earning just 12 percent of the vote.

In addition to voting, fans weighed in on how they’d like to see the Jazz change this offseason in reply to the polls.

“Change supporting cast!” Tyler Daines tweeted. “Start with trading Oneale and Gay! Play House and Paschal more and than go from there!”

Jazz_Hansen21 tweeted, “Royce and Conley have to go.”

The Jazz have at least one more season with almost the entire roster under contract. Bojan Bogdanovic is signed through next summer, while both Rudy Gay and Jordan Clarkson have player options on their deals for the 2023-24 season.

Mike Conley has a partially guaranteed contract going into the 2023-24, while Royce O’Neale will see his four-year deal expire in 2024.

Gobert and Mitchell are under contract through 2026, though both All-Stars have player options in the final years of their deals.
