Rudy Gobert Throws Down Powerful Dunk Over Bulls C Daniel Gafford

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert threw down a powerful slam dunk over Chicago Bulls center Daniel Gafford on Monday night.

With 8:53 left in the fourth quarter, Mike Conley went near the baseline when he found Rudy Gobert in the paint. He got the ball, faked a pass to Georges Niang before spinning to the rim and throwing it down over Daniel Gafford.
The dunk gave Gobert 14 points on the night as he was near a triple double as he had 10 rebounds and 9 assists. Utah took a 95-77 lead over the Bulls after the dunk.

The Jazz got the double digit lead in the first half that started with a 19-0 run from the end of the first quarter to the start of the second.
The run started with a jumpshot by Jordan Clarkson to tie the game at 23 with 2:14 left in the first quarter.
Then Joe Ingles made his second three-pointer of the night and the first of the run. After Clarkson made three free throws, the first quarter ended with Utah up 29-23. The Jazz kept the run going into the second quarter when Ingles set up Gobert for a layup before knocking down his third triple of the game. About 30 seconds later, Ingles hit another triple, forcing Bulls head coach Billy Donovan to call a timeout as the Jazz went up 37-23.
The Jazz are making the last stop on their five-game road trip. They will return home for four straight games beginning on Wednesday, March 24 against the Brooklyn Nets.
