CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Utah Jazz and Charlotte Hornets faced off in a battle of the NBA’s cellar-dwellers on Monday, with the Hornets narrowly prevailing in a 110-106 slugfest.
Charlotte jumped out in front early, leading by as much as 14 points. The Jazz found their shot eventually and the rest of the game was neck-and-neck.
Keyonte George led the way for Utah with 20 points off the bench. Brice Sensabaugh and Isaiah Collier were the team’s next-leading scorers with 19 and 17 points respectively.
The Utah Jazz now look forward to games in Houston, Indiana, and Atlanta to close out their road trip.
