Utah Jazz Players, Community React To Rebrand, New Jerseys

SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah Jazz announced their rebrand, along with new jerseys that has created excitement around the fan base and the organization.
On Friday morning, the Utah Jazz revealed their new jerseys, which includes four that will be worn this season and two that will be worn in the 2023-24 season.
The three new traditional uniforms include a white edition with the black Jazz Note logo resting over top of the player’s jersey number with a highlighter yellow trim.
The second jersey prominently features the highlighter yellow color with the Jazz name emboldened over the player’s number in black.
And finally, a black jersey with the word Utah over the player’s number in highlighter yellow.

The new jerseys are a part of a major rebrand for the Jazz that will include a redesigned court for the upcoming NBA season.
Teams traditionally debut their rebranded jerseys ahead of the NBA draft, though the Jazz don’t currently own a pick in the June 23rd event.
In addition to the three main jerseys in their rotation, the Jazz also made a surprise announcement by releasing their city edition jersey for both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.
The city edition jersey for the 2022-23 season resembles the mountain jersey the Jazz wore during their runs to the finals in 1997 and 1998.

Utah Jazz owner Ryan Smith was a big part of the rebrand. He mentioned on Twitter previously that purple is here to stay and he kept his word.
