PROVO – Hard to believe, but it’s already year four for BYU basketball in the Big 12 Conference.
The league revealed its conference schedule on Wednesday
It’s another 18-game schedule featuring home-and-away matchups against Arizona, TCU, and rival Utah.

BYU will host the rival Utes on Saturday, January 16, at the Marriott Center in Provo. Then it will visit the Huntsman Center on Saturday, February 6.
BYU swept the season series against Utah last year.
The Cougars welcome Final Four participant Arizona to the Marriott Center as part of another ESPN Big Monday showcase game. Arizona, the reigning Big 12 Champions, swept the season series against BYU last year.
It’s year three under head coach Kevin Young. In Young’s first two seasons as head coach, he’s guided BYU to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and a pair of 6-seeds.
However, those seasons were not similar paths to earning those respective 6-seeds. Two years ago, BYU finished fourth in the Big 12 standings; last year, they were 10th.
They will look to climb up the ladder once again in one of the toughest basketball leagues in college basketball on an annual basis.
It’s a new-look team, as is the case for many college basketball programs these days. BYU lost No. 1 NBA draft pick AJ Dybantsa and second-round pick Richie Saunders, but they bring back one of the nation’s top guards in Rob Wright III.
They pair up Wright with Kentucky transfer Collin Chandler, five-star freshman Bruce Branch III, and Michigan State transfer big Jaxon Kohler, who is eligible for a fifth season due to a Temporary Restraining Order in California.
