PROVO, Utah – BYU basketball guard Egor Demin is going through the NBA Draft Combine this week in Chicago.

One key aspect of the Combine is the measurements, which include a player’s height, wingspan, and weight.

ESPN’s Jonathan Givony reported on the official measurements for the former BYU star.

Demin checked in at 6-foot-8 and 1/4 inches. He was also reported at 6-foot-10 1/4 inches on his wingspan.

It was interesting to learn Demin’s official weight. The BYU basketball program didn’t publish that information during his one season in Provo. Givony reported that Demin checked in at 199.2 pounds at the Combine.

Those are strong measurements for a player who primarily played point guard at the collegiate level.

Egor Demin: NBA Draft Combine measurements

  • Height (barefoot): 6’8 1/4
  • Weight: 199.2 lbs
  • Wingspan: 6’10 1/4″
  • Standing reach: 8’9 1/2″

Big opportunity at the NBA Draft Combine for Demin

The NBA Draft Combine is a big opportunity for Demin to climb draft boards again as an NBA Lottery pick.

At the beginning of BYU’s season last fall, Demin was garnering buzz as a top-10 pick. Heading into Chicago this week for the Combine, Demin is anywhere from the end of the Lottery to the high teens.

“I’m super excited to announce that I will be putting my name in the 2025 NBA Draft,” Demin said in April when announcing his decision to declare for the NBA Draft. “It’s another challenge that I’m willing to take, and I’m not scared of any troubles that I could meet on this path.”

Demin finished his one season at BYU with averages of 10.6 points, 5.5 assists, and 3.9 rebounds. He shot 41.2% from the field and 27.3% from three-point range.

Demin’s three-point shooting will likely be an area of focus during the Combine.

The Moscow, Russia native has been playing at a high level of basketball since he was 15 years old, dating back to his time with the Real Madrid organization in Spain.
