BYU QB Jaren Hall Hits Kody Epps For TD Against Razorbacks

PROVO, Utah – BYU quarterback Jaren Hall found an open Kody Epps in the flat and the wide receiver took it to the end zone for a touchdown against the Arkansas Razorbacks.
The Cougars hosted the Razorbacks at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, October 15.
With 1:11 left in the first quarter, Hall found Epps for a 21-yard strike and BYU’s second score of the afternoon.
Epps’ reception gave BYU a 13-7 lead over Arkansas.

The play capped a four-play, 75-yard drive that took 1:26.
After the score, Hall was 7/11 passing for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Epps had two catches for 31 yards and a touchdown.
Hall entered the game having thrown for 1,558 yards, 14 touchdowns, and two interceptions this season. Epps entered the contest with 25 receptions for 298 yards and six touchdowns this season.

It’s the first time these two programs have squared off against one another. BYU will make the return visit to Fayetteville in 2023 as a member of the Big 12 Conference.
Both teams want to start the second half of their seasons with a much-needed win. Arkansas has lost its last three games, while BYU is coming off a setback against Notre Dame that felt like a missed opportunity.
