BYU Football Unveils 2021 Schedule Posters For Fans

PROVO, Utah – BYU football is maintaining an annual tradition for Cougar fans. The football schedule posters are still being made, and the 2021 edition is now out.
A right of passage each offseason for fans, BYU released two different designs for the upcoming season. One with royal blue featuring All-American candidate center James Empey. Then another poster in navy blue featuring defensive lineman Lorenzo Fauatea.

Where to pick up the 2021 BYU Football posters
Fans can pick up their free posters on BYU’s campus right now at the Student Athlete Building lobby and checkouts at the BYU Store. The posters will also be available at the upcoming Las Vegas Fanfest on September 3rd.
BYU’s Fanfest in Vegas will be located at Craig Ranch Regional Park from 6-8 p.m. (PT) the night before the Cougars’ season opener against Arizona.
The other spot fans will be able to grab the posters is at Cougar Canyon, which makes its return after taking last year off due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Cougar Canyon was introduced in 2019 by BYU’s marketing team, led by Assistant Athletic Director David Almodova.

The posters were initially going to be released at BYU’s annual Cougar Kickoff. However, BYU canceled that event due to the poor air quality in the Utah Valley caused by the California fires from the west coast. So instead, BYU began handing out the posters at Education Week, where AD Tom Holmoe spoke on various athletic department topics to a crowd of 350 attendees.
BYU football’s 2021 schedule features seven games against Power Five opponents. The Cougars open the season against the Arizona Wildcats in Las Vegas and open their home schedule at LaVell Edwards Stadium the following week against rival Utah on September 11.
