Issac Rex Dives, Hauls In Touchdown On Great Pass From BYU QB Zach Wilson

PROVO, Utah – BYU quarterback Zach Willson tossed a beautiful throw into the end zone and tight end Issac Rex pulled down a touchdown reception on an impressive dive against the San Diego State Aztecs.

The No. 18 Cougars hosted the Aztecs at LaVell Edwards Stadium on Saturday, December 12.
With 10:53 left to play, Wilson dropped an excellent throw over the defense and into the end zone.
Rex laid out for the pass and pulled the ball into for his second touchdown catch of the game.

The Cougars decided to go for two instead of kicking an extra point.
Wilson tossed a ball to running back Lopini Katoa who walked into the end zone for two points.
The score ended a seven-play, 72-yard drive by BYU and gave the Cougars a 28-14 advantage.
After the drive, Wilson was 26/35 for 303 yards and three touchdowns. It was Wilson’s 30th touchdown of 2020.

Rex had five catches for 47 yards and two touchdowns. It was the tight end’s 10th touchdown reception of the season.
