Provo Ranked Top City In Utah For Football Fans In 2021

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – WalletHub ranked Provo as the state of Utah’s top city for football fans in 2021.

WalletHub compared “more than 240 U.S. cities with at least one college or professional football team” with “set ranges from the number of NFL and college football teams to stadium capacity to fan engagement” to determine its rankings.

Although Utah isn’t home to any professional football teams, Provo is home to college football’s BYU Cougars.

Best Football Cities in Utah for Fans

Provo was listed as the state’s top city for football fans but it wasn’t the only Utah city nationally ranked by WalletHub.

Methodology

In order to determine the best and worst cities for football fans, WalletHub said they “compared 245 U.S. cities based on 21 relevant metrics” and that “each metric was graded on a 100-point scale, with a score of 100 representing the most favorable conditions for football fans.”
