Social Media Couldn’t Get Enough Of Zach Wilson, BYU’s Dominance Against LA Tech

PROVO, Utah – New week, same results for BYU football as the Cougars led by quarterback Zach Wilson rolled to a dominant 45-14 win over the LA Tech Bulldogs.

Twitter was thoroughly impressed with the junior signal-caller as he passed for 325 yards and completed 92 percent of his passes, while also running in for three touchdowns.

BYU is now 3-0 to open the season, the first time that has happened since 2014 when the Cougars began that year 4-0.

Here were some of the highlights from social media weighing in on BYU during their win over Louisiana Tech.

BYU is good. Bummed we aren’t getting to see them vs the original schedule.

Zach Wilson, I’m watching. Pandemic season don’t mean you can’t strike that pose when you feel it’s appropriate. #BYU

Zach Wilson is 18-19 for 236 yards in the first half for BYU. Was he on the Dash early Heisman list this week? Yes he was. https://t.co/uSYdNdHrbY

#BYU QB Zach Wilson is scorching. Has completed 24 of 26 tonight for 325 yards and in his last two games, he’s completing over 87% of his passes. Mercy.

As a CFB consumer, I really wish this #BYU team had a non-pandemic schedule.

Can anybody stop the BYU juggernaut?

#BYU has fantastic uniforms. They’re traditional, simple, and a great color combination. We should all remember though that sometimes you have to hit rock bottom before you can rise from the ashes. Let us never forget the “BYU bibs”. #BYUvsLaTech pic.twitter.com/W6ATdhxinR

1st qtr interception. CB Troy Warner took the ball from that receiver like a junkyard dog fighting for the last bone in the yard. The entire team plays like that this year.

I wish @BYUfootball could play a big time power house this year. This is a complete football team – @kalanifsitake ‘s men are crushing everything in front of them.
