Utah Football Ends Strong With Road Win Over Kansas Jayhawks

LAWRENCE, Kan. — The No. 13 Utah football team took care of business in week 14 with a 31-21 win over the Kansas Jayhawks at David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium on Friday morning.
The victory put the Utes at 10-2, which made it the eighth season with 10 or more wins under head coach Kyle Whittingham.
Quarterback Devon Dampier completed 15 of his 25 pass attempts for 253 yards and three touchdowns. Wayshawn Parker led the effort on the ground with 13 carries for 95 yards.

Utah’s run defense looked pretty sketchy all drive long but the bend-don’t-break held true in the red zone. Logan Fano with a TFL and Tao Johnson with a PBU to end the drive and Kansas has to settle for field goal… which was missed!
