Pleasant Grove Athlete Isaac Vaha Includes Utah, BYU In Top 7

PLEASANT GROVE, Utah – Pleasant Grove athlete and one of the top football prospects in the state of Utah, Isaac Vaha released his top 7 list.

Vaha is a 6’7, 230-pound athlete from Pleasant Grove, Utah. He is a three-star prospect according to 247 Sports composite and is the No. 84 ranked athlete in the country and the eighth ranked prospect in the state of Utah. According to 247 Sports, Vaha is the No. 71 ranked athlete and sixth in the state.
He tweeted his top 7 schools that he will focus his recruitment process on which includes Utah, BYU, UCLA, Penn State, Arizona State, Washington and Oregon.

Utah’s top 2021 commitment Peter Costelli replied to his announcement telling Vaha to “Come to Utah!!!” Costelli is a four-star quarterback from Mission Viejo, California.

Costelli’s father Peter also replied to Vaha’s tweet with a message.
“There are no stars to measure one’s drive to be better, or their will to win, or even the sacrifices they’ve made on their path,” Costelli shared. “When Utah recruits a player, it’s just not about stars or ratings as their coaches state…it’s also about character. We witnessed this first hand by Utah players and coaches on several visits to the U. They walk it like they talk it. This had a major impact on us, and on our son’s decision to continue his academic and athletic career at the University of Utah.”

Other than the top 7 listed above, Vaha received offers from California, Colorado, Colorado State, Liberty, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oregon State, Texas Tech, Utah State, Virginia, Washington State and West Virginia.
