Ty Jordan Run Gives Utah Much Needed Second Half Touchdown

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Utah true freshman running back Ty Jordan gave the Utes a much needed touchdown in the second half against Colorado.

Jordan had two plays with big runs on Utah’s first offensive drive of the second half. The first play was a 35-yard run by Jordan to put Utah at the Colorado 25-yard line.
Jake Bentley threw a 7-yard pass to Solomon Enis before Jordan ran into the end zone from 18-yards out. That put Utah within 4-points of the 21st ranked Buffaloes.

It was a huge series for the Utes because Colorado’s first play of the second half was a 61-yard touchdown catch by wide receiver Brenden Rice. The son of NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice, had an 81-yard punt return for a touchdown with under two minutes left until halftime.
Utah’s first touchdown was on their first drive of the game when Bentley threw a 7-yard TD to Solomon Enis.
Just two minutes into the second half, Jordan had 84 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries.
