Utah Women’s Basketball Hoping Strong Offense Continues In Pac-12 Title Game vs. Stanford
The Utes have changed their offense this season and it’s more explosive and involves more three-pointers. That has led to a Pac-12-leading 77 points per game. They also lead the conference in three-pointers made (283, school-record), three-point percentage (35.3%), three-point attempts (801), assists (464), free throws made (446) and free throw attempts (569).
In the Pac-12 Tournament, Utah set a tourney record against Washington State in the quarterfinals for most points in a quarter with 29. After their win over Oregon on Friday night in the semifinals, Utah made history by winning multiple Pac-12 Tournament games for the first time in program history.
The Utes lost both games against Stanford this season. They fell to the Cardinal at home, 83-73 in a hard fought game on January 16. Then they lost in Palo Alto, 91-64 on February 11.
Utah and Stanford will tip-off at 4 p.m. MT on Sunday, March 6 on ESPN2.
