Zack Moss’ Status Unknown After Suffering Shoulder Injury Against USC

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Utah Utes running back Zack Moss suffered a left shoulder injury in the second quarter against the USC Trojans and was sent to the locker room to be evaluated.
To that point in the game, Moss had 21 yards on six carries with Utah trailing 14-7.
The Utes scored a field goal on their next possession to trim the deficit to 14-10.
Utah was using their running back depth as three other backs have ran the ball with six total players with a rushing attempt.
Second string RB Devonta’e Henry- Cole has 25 rushing yards on two carries and one touchdown, while quarterback Tyler Huntley has 5 attempts for 23 yards.
Devin Brumfield had a big 30 yard run on his only attempt when Utah was facing a 2nd and 25 deep in their own territory.
USC lost their true freshman quarterback Kedon Slovis, who was hit on the second play of the game by Utes defensive tackle Leki Fotu.
Utah has lost their last eight games in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Their only win came in 1916, the first time playing at USC.
