McEwen Leads Weber State To Second Half Comeback Against Duquesne

SALT LAKE CITY – Koby McEwen and the Weber State Wildcats came from behind in the second half to beat the Duquesne Dukes.
The Dukes hosted the Wildcats at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Monday, November 15.
Weber State defeated Duquesne, 63-59.

After the first 20 minutes of action, the Wildcats trailed the Dukes by nine points, 32-23.

McEwen helped Weber State bounce back after halftime to beat Duquesne. The Wildcats outscored the Dukes by 13 points in the second half.
Weber State finished the game shooting 43.2 percent overall and 37.5 percent from three-point range. Three Wildcats reached double figures in scoring.
McEwen led the Wildcats with 21 points on 5-13 field goals, including 5-9 from downtown.

Jackie Johnson III led the Dukes with a game-high 27 points.
With the win, the Wildcats improved to a 2-0 record this season.
Weber State’s next game is part of the Jersey Mike’s Classic in Florida. The Wildcats will play the UMass Minutemen on Thursday, November 18 at 3:30 p.m. (MDT).
