U.S. Men’s Moguls Team Struggles In Final

MILAN, Italy – Team USA couldn’t crack the men’s moguls code, finishing no higher than seventh in a star-studded field.
Nick Page was briefly in medal position before finishing seventh.
2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics Medal Count
Charlie Mickel (13th) and Landon Wendler (17th) never challenged the field.
Australia’s Cooper Woods came from out of nowhere to steal Gold. Mikael Kingsbury of Canada earned Silver, and Ikuma Horishima won Bronze.

Charlie Mickel
U of U student Charlie Mickel was the first non-qualifier in round one, but he wasn’t left on the outside after qualifying round two.
Mickel took the course 11th today and rode the snow to a 77.82, the third-best score of the round.
He qualified for the final 13th.
Medal Round
Mickel ended his moguls medal dreams with a 76.34, finishing in 13th.
Nick Page
Park City, Utah, native Nick Page entered the final round with some extra rest after earning his position the previous day.

Medal Round
Page was easily the best U.S. finisher, briefly landing in position for Silver, before being pushed off the podium by other competitors.
He finished 7th at 77.50.
His best Olympic finish was fifth place at the 2022 Beijing Winter Games.
Landon Wendler
Utah resident Landon Wendler wasn’t perfect in his second run, but it was good enough to advance to the medal round with his U.S. teammates.
Despite a missed grab on his last jump, judges awarded Wendler a 76.34, good enough to advance.
He entered the first final in 17th place of 20 racers.
Medal Round
Wendler held that position, finishing 17th with a 76.34 score.
