Instant Replay: Utah Athletics Programs Tweet Special Message In Honor Of Aaron Lowe

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Several Utah Athletics programs sent out a tweet with a special message at the same time in honor of Aaron Lowe.
Utah Athletics, men’s basketball, women’s basketball, gymnastics, baseball, softball, track & field, ski team, tennis, swim and dive, lacrosse, soccer, golf and volleyball accounts were all involved in the message.
At exactly 2:22 p.m. this afternoon, all of the accounts above tweeted out “family on three #22forever” in honor of Aaron Lowe and Ty Jordan, who both wore No. 22 and tragically passed away.

Jordan passed away on December 25, 2020 in Denton, Texas to a accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound. Lowe was shot and killed on Sunday morning at a house party in Sugarhouse.
He was the first recipient of the Ty Jordan Memorial Scholarship and switched his number from 2 to 22 during the offseason to honor the life of his childhood friend.
Before the BYU game, the Cougars ran out of their tunnel with a “LLTJ” flag. When Utah was running out of their tunnel, former Ute Samson Nacua gave the flag to quarterback and captain Cam Rising, who gave the flag to Aaron Lowe.
