Ingles Assists Australia In Getting Win Over Canada

DONGGUAN, China – Utah Jazz forward Joe Ingles was an assist machine for Australia on Sunday morning in their win over the Canadian men’s national basketball team.
Ingles was a magician on the court and helped facilitate the Aussies’ offense in the 108-92 victory.
The small forward was responsible for 9 assists in Australia’s first game of the 2019 FIBA World Cup.

Ingles finished the game with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. He played nearly 34 minutes in the Boomers win.
Australia was led in scoring by Cleveland Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova who had a game-high 24 points. Canada’s Khem Birch had 18 points in the loss.
Group H Update
Australia and Canada are members of Group H in the World Cup tournament. The other members are the Lithuania and Senegal.
