PROVO — BYU football keeps reminding everyone that navy blue remains part of the program’s uniform identity.
On Halloween Saturday, when BYU hosts Arizona State, the Cougars will roll out a navy blue uniform combination they haven’t worn in five years.
BYU will wear an All-Navy Blue uniform. They haven’t worn this combination since 2021, when they lost at home to Boise State.

Before that, BYU last wore the All-Navy Blue combination in their final Mountain West Conference home game against New Mexico in 2010.
This’s the second time this season BYU has worn a navy blue uniform at home. The other occurrence was against Iowa State earlier this month on October 9.
BYU enters Saturday’s matchup against Arizona State with a 6-1 overall record and a 3-1 mark in Big 12 play. Arizona State is riding high after a win over Kansas State at home last week to improve their record to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the conference.
Arizona State is making its first trip to Provo since joining the Big 12 Conference in 2024. The Sun Devils’ last visit to Provo was in 2021, a game BYU won, 27-17
