LOGAN, Utah – Utah running back Zack Moss and Utah State kicker Dominik Eberle were named as two of ten finalists for the 2019 Senior CLASS Award.

Finalists for the award were announced on Thursday, October 31.

The award recognizes “college seniors who are utilizing their complete athletic eligibility, remaining committed to their university and pursuing the many rewards a senior season can bring.”

Other finalists for the award are Derrick Brown (Auburn), Justin Herbert (Oregon), Sterling Hofrichter (Syracuse), Jalen Hurts (Oklahoma), Zach Shackelford (Texas), Jon Wassink (Western Michigan), Evan Weaver (California), and Dustin Woodard (Memphis).

Zack Moss

The senior Utah RB has carried the ball 110 times for 728 yards and 10 touchdowns this season. He’s also posted 8 receptions for 174 yards.

Moss became the Utes’ all-time leading rusher in a 21-3 win over the Arizona State Sun Devils on October 19.

The senior back has been a major reason for Utah’s 7-1 (4-1) start to the season.

Utah looks to win its fifth straight game when they head to Seattle to face Washington on Saturday, November 2 at 2 p.m. (MDT).

Dominik Eberle

The senior Aggie kicker is 11/13 of field goals with a long of 48-yards. Eberle has been a key player for the Aggies who sit at 4-3 (3-1) on the season.

Eberle is also a nominee for the 2019 Wuerffel Trophy.

In 2017 he was a finalist for the Lou Groza Award which honors the nation’s best kicker.

Utah State looks to rebound from a loss at Air Force when they host the BYU Cougars on Saturday, November 2 at 8 p.m. (MDT).
