BYU Football Depth Chart For Big 12 Title Against Texas Tech

PROVO, Utah – The BYU football depth chart for Saturday’s Big 12 Championship game against Texas Tech is out.
BYU enters the title game of the Big 12 with a No. 11 ranking in the College Football Playoff Top 25 ranking and an 11-1 overall record.

The 13th depth chart of the 2025 BYU football season gets everyone ready for Saturday’s Big 12 Championship against the No. 4 Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Sione Moa returns to the depth chart
BYU running back Sione Moa returns to the depth chart for the first time since game three against East Carolina back on September 20.
Moa is the top running back after star LJ Martin.
Since Moa was sidelined, BYU has not had a running back behind Martin emerge as a consistent producer on the ground.
Moa began traveling with the team again for the Texas Tech game on November 8, then he made his first appearance in pregame warmups since the ECU game last week against UCF.
The order at running back starts with LJ Martin, followed by Moa, with Preston Rex behind Moa, and capped off by Enoch Nawahine.
Jovesa Damuni dropped off the depth chart.
Justin Kirkland returns
BYU will get additional reinforcements along the defensive line this week as Oklahoma State transfer Justin Kirkland returns.
Defensive coaches decided to sideline Kirkland the past few weeks in an effort to maintain his redshirt season. Kirkland appeared in only four games during the regular season.
Games in the postseason (Big 12 Championship, Bowl Games, College Football Playoff) do not count against that redshirt total, so Kirkland will play and still be in the mix next year along BYU’s defensive front.
