Morning weather forecast for July 20, 2026

Our monsoon high continues to churn near the Four Corners region this week. Being that high pressure won't be moving a ton, we will likely see more mountain t-storms especially in southern Utah. There will be a small disturbance embedded within this monsoonal flow that could provide Wasatch Front t-storm chances Tuesday and Wednesday. Per usual, best chance for t-storms this week will be in the mountains, but we can't rule out some valley storms. The flash flood threat will be highest across Utah on Tuesday and Wednesday, please stay out of slot canyons and dry washes.. especially in the afternoon when thunderstorms are most active.
