Morning weather forecast for July 8, 2026
With some moisture still in place today, we'll see another chance for some pop-up t-storms along the Wasatch Front; the best times for these will be the afternoon hours. Tomorrow we see the drying trend continue as thunderstorm chances lower to the 20% range. High pressure really balloons over the weekend with temperatures ranging anywhere from 100 to 105 degrees from Friday to Monday. Monsoon moisture could be coming to the rescue next week as long-range models advertise our first real monsoon surge of the season. - Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 7.8.26
