Morning forecast for July 10, 2026

Currently, high pressure is sitting over southern California but will be on the move for Utah this weekend. As the core of high pressure moves into the Intermountain West temperatures will sky rocket to not only the triple digits, but many locations during the peak of this heatwave could be rivaling all-time record highs Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows during this hot streak will not be recovering much, overnight lows in the 70s for SLC and 80s for St. George/Washington County. Remember to stay hydrated, avoid strenuous activities during peak heat and do not leave pets or children in parked cars. Monsoon moisture will be streaming into the state next week helping to cool temperatures a bit and increase rain chances. Matt Johnson- KSL Weather 7.10.26
