Evening forecast for Sept. 2, 2026

A low-pressure system just off the west coast will keep breezy conditions across Utah for the next few days. Look for more sunshine on Thursday and Friday, with high temperatures in the mid-80s. Tropical moisture will get drawn into the state by late Labor Day weekend, producing scattered thunderstorms. This will increase the flash flood potential in southern Utah on Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will dip into the 70s early next week, with lows sliding into the 50s. Kevin Eubank - KSL Weather 9.2.26
