Above normal temperatures will stick around through Saturday, with Saturday being the hottest day thanks to strong southwesterly winds. These winds will be strongest along and west of I-15 with gusts up to 40-50 mph. The strengthening, gusty winds are ahead of a cold front that will slide northwest to southeast across Utah late Saturday night through Sunday. Ahead of the front Friday and Saturday, we could see a few isolated showers and storms, mainly in the mountains. Overall, the front looks to move through dry, but there is a low chance for some showers and storms to develop with it - also mainly in the mountains and in eastern Utah.
