Afternoon forecast for Sept. 18, 2026
A low pressure system approaching the state will collide with ample subtropical moisture. In Utah this is a pretty good recipe for thunderstorms, and in today's case there will be a chance for some of these storms to turn severe. Scattered showers and t-storms will be out and about this morning and afternoon, with the stronger storms being possible in the afternoon. Tomorrow we could see a morning shower, but mostly dry conditions start settling in Saturday and through Sunday.
