Evening forecast for Sept. 16, 2026
Later this evening, storms will continue to move south to north across Eastern Utah. Models also show a cluster of storms moving into southwest Utah this evening, then moving north overnight, potentially over the Wasatch Front by early Thursday morning. We could see more scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms throughout the day tomorrow across northern Utah and extreme southeast Utah. Thunderstorms will likely develop across the higher terrain west of Castle Country, Uinta Basin and Price area and will move eastward. These storms Thursday afternoon can produce strong winds, small hail and flash flooding. We're keeping scattered showers and storms in the forecast Friday, and a 30% chance Saturday.
