A weak disturbance will move through northern Utah tonight into the morning and will produce some widely scattered light rain showers. This disturbance will settle across southern and eastern Utah by the afternoon, and will give way to some more showers and isolated thunderstorms that could lead to isolated flash flooding. On Saturday, there remains a chance for some isolated thunderstorms across eastern Utah. The rest of the state will be dry with strong winds developing as the day goes on. The strongest winds will be in the evening as a cold front approaches northwest Utah. This front has come in slower and is expected to move through northern Utah mid to late morning Sunday, then settle into southeast Utah by the afternoon.
