Morning weather forecast for September 2, 2026
Low pressure camped off the west coast will keep dry wind in play across Utah the next few days with temperatures in the 80s. Due to the dry winds and warm temperatures, fire danger will likely tick upwards over the next couple afternoons. The KSL Weather Team is monitoring the potential for some tropical remnants to move into Utah by late Labor Day Weekend. This will likely be increasing flash flood potential in southern Utah right around the time we expect a lot of tourists to be at the national parks down south. Temperatures along the Wasatch Front will dip off into the 70s with some rain chances by Labor Day Monday. - Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 9.2.26
