Morning weather forecast for August 26, 2026
Monsoon moisture will keep mountain thunderstorms in the forecast through Thursday. A shallow cool front will approach the state on Friday, that should drop temperatures a few degrees with increase clouds and some valley rain chances. Most models in agreement that a front will slide through northern Utah sometime Saturday, this should be enough to kick off showers and t-storms - and we'll also see a 10 degree cool-down! 80s will remain in the forecast early next week. -Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 8.26.26
