A slow-moving low-pressure system in the Pacific Northwest will continue to keep us in a strong southwesterly flow. This will keep gusty south winds in the forecast through Saturday night. Remnant moisture from Tropical Storm Marie will be drawn into southern Utah on Sunday, producing scattered showers and thunderstorms. That storminess will try to move northward by Sunday night, producing the chance for scattered storms in northern Utah. A cold front will move by northern Utah early Monday morning, dropping temperatures for Labor Day and keeping the chance for scattered storms through Monday night. Kevin Eubank - KSL Weather 9.4.26
