Morning weather forecast for September 3, 2026
A large low is parked off the west coast, this will kick up afternoon winds through Saturday and maybe even Sunday. With dry southwest winds in the forecast, there will be an uptick in fire danger as fuel moistures likely respond to that dry wind flow. Temperatures will remain in the mid and upper 80s through this time period with dry sky coverage. Models are hinting at a tap of tropical moisture moving in this weekend. It is still unclear how much and where it will fuel showers and storms, however, rain chances go up a bit as we head into Sunday and Labor Day Monday - don't cancel plans, just know we could have some weather kicking up.
