Isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible again Friday afternoon across southern Utah higher terrain. The rest of the state will see mostly to partly sunny skies with highs slightly above normal. As we head into the weekend, temperatures will be in the low 80s and we'll have sunny skies Saturday but increasing clouds Sunday. Winds will also increase on Sunday as a trough drops down the west coast and Hurricane Polo approaches the Baja of California. There is still great uncertainty on how our cold front and tropical moisture surge will play out across Utah. Right now, we're going to keep scattered showers across portions of northern Utah Monday that are more so associated with the trough and cold front. However, the southern half of the state (especially southeast UT) may see more widespread rain related to the tropical moisture.
