High pressure is currently off the Los Angeles coastline, but will be making a move for Utah this weekend. As a result, temperatures will skyrocket to not only the triple digits - they could even rival all-time record highs Saturday and Sunday. As the core of high pressure moves into the Midwest, it'll open the door for monsoon moisture to flow into the Desert Southwest.
