Evening forecast November 5, 2026

Clouds will exit tonight, giving way to clear skies overnight, which will lead to patches of fog, especially in areas that saw fog development this morning. The fog will burn off in the morning, and much of the state will be sunny, except southeast Utah. A nearby low-pressure system will kick up some clouds into southeast Utah and could give way to a few isolated showers. Because of the positioning of this low-pressure system, winds near and on the higher terrain of southwest Utah will pick up and gust up to 45 mph through the day Friday. As we head into the weekend, high pressure will build into the region, bringing mostly sunny skies, quiet conditions, and gradually warming temperatures.
