Morning forecast October 28, 2026

The second overnight cold front of the week produced .10-.20" well north of SLC yet again. Today will be mostly clear statewide; clouds increase for Thursday but still dry. A piece of storm energy will kick up some light rain chances Friday and then again on Saturday. The brunt of our next storm system shows up Sunday and looks like it will put down statewide rainfall. There is an increased level of flash flood risk in southern Utah in response to this tropical moisture moving in; that's mainly for Sunday. - Matt Johnson, KSL Weather 10.28.26
