Morning weather forecast for October 6, 2026
A shallow low pressure system will be sliding through the state today, under the presence of high pressure. This will make the impact very light, we're talking about partly cloudy skies with some mountain showers possible. Some of these mountain showers may try and hang around with the daily afternoon heating Wednesday and Thursday, but all in all quiet for the valleys. Models have trended toward a somewhat stronger storm come Sunday into Monday. Looks like valley rain with some snow possible above 9k feet, it's something we will be tracking closely, stay tuned.
