Afternoon forecast July 24, 2026
A few t-storms will be possible over northern Utah this evening with a warm overnight and lows just dropping to the upper 70s. The weekend will be a hot one with highs in the low 100s to the northern and up to 109 in St. George. A few mountain storms will be possible, but much more isolated than what we saw during the work week. The heat lingers though next week with increasing monsoonal moisture bringing more mountain storms and a the threat for flash floods in slot canyons and burn scars. - Kristen Van Dyke, KSL Weather 7.24.26
